Introduction

Using the AbvEditor any process picture may be allocated to an existing ‘ Display Group’. (Pull down menu ‘Edit’ / Information)
Display Groups are of interest only when loading a picture in runtime:
If the picture to load belongs to the same Display Group as the old one, the size and position of the actual display window is kept.

Calling up the program

It is done via the pull down menu 'File' of the 'AbvBrowser' and mouse click to the item 'Display groups…'

A similar dialog window is opened:



The first column represents the Group-Id, the second one the description.

Possible actions via the buttons
Button Action
Ok Saves new/modified objects and closes the window.
Cancel Closes the window without saving any changes
(same as the "close window" button in the right upper corner)
Add Adds a Display group.
(If a group is marked, the newly created data record contains the parameters of the marked one; without a previously marked Display group the record is empty.)
Edit The marked Display group is opened
Delete The marked Display group is deleted

Create a new Display group
Press the button "Add…" a dialog window with the following fields is opened.

Field Meaning
Group-Id This entry represents the Group-Id.
Description free text

Modifying an existing Display group
Select the Display group and press ‘Edit’, the same dialog window appears, but with the parameters of the Display group to modify shown.

Delete an existing Display group
Select the Display group and press ‘Delete’.
